Layouts

The Hyperdash terminal is a grid you arrange yourself. Your workspace is everything you have set up, and layouts are the tabs inside it, so you can keep a chart-heavy layout for scalping, a flow layout for watching cohorts, and a portfolio layout for reviewing positions, then switch between them in one click. Everything saves to your account automatically. Sign in on another machine and your workspace comes with you.

Layout tabs

Each layout is a tab across the top of the terminal. From Layout options on a tab you can:

• Rename it
• Duplicate it, to branch a variant without losing the original
• Reset it back to its starting arrangement
• Share it, covered below
• Close it

New layout adds another tab. You can start from a blank grid or pick an existing layout as the starting point.

Building a layout

Open the Add Widget drawer to see everything available, grouped into Charts, Feed, Portfolio, Alpha, and Tools, with a search box and a Suggested shortlist. Drag a widget onto the grid to place it. Once widgets are on the grid:

• Drag a widget by its header to move it, and drop it onto another widget to stack the two as tabs in one pane
• Drag a pane edge to resize
• Maximize fills the screen with one widget, and Restore puts it back
• Float pops a widget out of the grid
• Drag a widget out and release to remove it
• Snapshot copies or downloads an image of a single widget or the whole layout

Most widgets can be added more than once, which is the point of link groups: two price charts on different assets, side by side. A few are single-instance, including Positions, Balances, Open Orders, Fills, Transfers, History, Watchlist, and Copytrade, since a second copy would show identical data.

Saving

Saving is automatic. There is no save button, and the drawer says as much: changes are saved as you make them.

Sharing a layout

Share publishes a layout and gives it a link at hyperdash.com/layout/<name>. Anyone who opens it sees your arrangement and can add it to their own workspace. Publishing shares the structure of the layout, which widgets you used and how they are arranged, not your positions, balances, or account data. You can unpublish at any time, which stops the link from resolving for anyone who has not already imported it.

Using someone else’s layout

Open a shared layout link and Hyperdash offers to import it as a new tab in your workspace. Imported layouts are yours to edit: changing one does not affect the original, and the person who shared it cannot change yours afterwards. The layout drawer separates My layouts, Imported, and Featured, so a layout someone sent you never gets confused with one you built.
