# Fees, Referrals & Rewards

> Trading fees on Hyperdash, plus how referral tiers, cashback, and reward claims work.

Hyperdash charges a small builder fee on top of the exchange's base trading fees, and gives a share of that fee back through tiered cashback and referral rewards. Everything below is managed from the rewards section of your [profile page](https://hyperdash.com/profile).

## Trading fees

Trades on Hyperdash incur a builder fee of 1.5 basis points (0.015%) on perps and 3 basis points (0.03%) on spot, added to the base [Hyperliquid fee schedule](https://hyperliquid.gitbook.io/hyperliquid-docs/trading/fees). Base rates vary with your own volume tier on the exchange; the trade panel always shows your effective taker and maker rates before you trade.

## Tiers

Your tier is set by your 30-day trading volume, and completing quests plus trading unlocks further tiers. Each tier determines your referral rate on direct referrals and the cashback you earn on your own fees.

| Diamond  | \$250M         | 22.5%         | 20%      |
| Obsidian | \$500M         | 25%           | 22.5%    |

## Referrals

You earn a share of the trading fees generated by traders you refer, across three levels:

* **Direct referrals**: your tier's referral rate, from 10% at Wood up to 25% at Obsidian.
* **Level 2** (users referred by your referrals): 4%.
* **Level 3**: 1%.

The tier table's referral rates apply only to direct referrals. Claim your referral code and assign your own referrer from the profile page; you cannot use your own invite code. The profile page is also where you set a custom profile picture.

## Rewards, quests, and claims

The rewards view tracks each referral's volume, the fees they generated, and your share. Claimable rewards accrue there; claims are usually reviewed and paid out within one week. Quests appear in the Quests panel in the app, and completing them contributes to unlocking higher tiers.
